Relevate Health and Flora Health Launch a Co-Developed Formulary Capability for Pharmaceutical Brands

Press Release

September 1, 2026

CINCINNATI, OH — September 1, 2026 — Relevate Health® is the leading data-driven, AI-enabled omnichannel activation platform for life sciences commercialization, activates OMNI KNOW-HOW® to connect pharma brands with clinicians at the Point-of-Learning and Point-of-Clinical-Decision, delivering precision engagement, proven Rx lift and guaranteed results across the full HCP journey. Today Relevate Health announced a co-developed formulary capability with Flora Health, a healthcare technology company that connects provider engagement, patient access, commercial intelligence and workflow automation across the healthcare ecosystem, designed to help pharmaceutical brands deliver contextually precise formulary coverage information to healthcare professionals directly within their existing electronic health record (EHR) workflow at the point of care.

Powered by regularly refreshed formulary data and a dynamic in-workflow display, the capability surfaces accurate coverage information at the point of care, giving HCPs greater visibility into access considerations while treatment decisions are being made.

For pharmaceutical brands, the capability creates a more precise way to communicate formulary information when treatment decisions are being made. For physicians, it provides greater visibility into coverage considerations without requiring them to leave their existing workflow. For patients, earlier identification of potential access considerations can help support a more connected path from prescribing to therapy initiation.

Relevant Formulary Information for Pharma Engagement at the Point of Care

Formulary coverage is not static and can vary across markets and prescribing environments. Yet physicians may still make treatment decisions based on previous experience, outdated information or broader assumptions about a brand’s coverage.

That creates an opportunity for pharmaceutical brands to move beyond broad formulary communication and provide more current, relevant information alet the point when a treatment decision is being made.

“Pharma brands have invested heavily in understanding which HCPs to reach,” said Matt Botkin, Group Vice President, Point of Care Solutions at Relevate Health. “The next question is whether the information itself reflects what that HCP needs to know. Formulary coverage is a clear example. If coverage differs across markets and prescribing environments, the information physicians receive should be able to reflect those differences.”

Supporting Patient Access Decisions at the Point of Care

The capability also reflects a broader evolution in patient access, with relevant coverage information moving further upstream into the clinical workflow. Rather than identifying potential coverage considerations only after a prescription has been submitted, providing formulary information at the point of care can help physicians make more informed treatment decisions and anticipate potential access questions earlier in the patient journey.

“Pharmaceutical brands are looking for ways to make point of care engagement more relevant to the treatment decision and the patient in front of the physician,” said Shannon Pfeffer, Chief Product Officer at Flora Health. “Bringing more relevant formulary coverage information into the clinical workflow helps surface access considerations further upstream, giving HCPs greater visibility while treatment decisions are being made and helping brands support a more connected path from prescribing to therapy.”

Delivering More Relevant Formulary Coverage Information in the EHR Workflow

The Relevate Health and Flora Health co-developed capability enables pharmaceutical brands to surface formulary information aligned to the physician’s prescribing context directly within the physician’s existing EHR workflow at the point of prescribing. Using regularly refreshed formulary data, the capability helps brands deliver coverage information that is more relevant to the patient and physician context when treatment decisions are being made.

“When I’m choosing a therapy, I need to understand what is relevant to the patient in front of me. Having current formulary information available within my existing workflow can help me make a more informed prescribing decision and identify potential coverage questions earlier, rather than discovering them after the prescription has already been written," said Dr. Michael S. Siegal, MD,PhD, Internal Medicine/Cardiology.
